A home should be more than just a place to sleep. Our international workers stay in safe, neat and comfortable homes with the necessary amenities. We believe it's important that employees have a pleasant place to come home to after work.
That's why we deliberately pay attention to the quality, safety and location of our housing. Wherever possible, our homes are located close to the client. We aim to keep the travel time between home and workplace limited.
Our job coaches also have regular contact with the employees and visit them at home. That way we stay involved and any questions or practical problems can be picked up quickly.
Flexdirect holds the SNF quality mark (Stichting Normering Flexwonen, the Flex Housing Standards Foundation). This quality mark is specifically aimed at organizations that house international workers. The housing locations of quality mark holders are inspected periodically and must meet the applicable SNF standards.
For you as a client, this means that housing is not an minor matter. We deliberately choose inspected housing and clear quality standards.
The homes are almost always located no more than 30 minutes from our clients. Creating a sense of home in the Netherlands is essential for our international temporary workers. We offer safe, neat homes with all the necessary facilities. Our job coaches visit the temporary workers at home every week to answer questions and provide explanations. Flexdirect offers a wide variety of transport options for our flex workers, including bikes, cars and buses. We believe it's important that our employees arrive safely at their workplace and get home safely again. We place great value not only on safety on the work floor, but also during the commute. In addition, we strive to keep the travel time of our flex workers as short as possible, with the goal that it does not exceed 30 minutes. That way we make the work environment not only safer, but also more efficient and more comfortable.
International workers sometimes need extra support, especially in their first period in the Netherlands. That's why our services don't stop once someone has started work.
Our guidance focuses on both working and living in the Netherlands. Employees have a point of contact for practical questions and our job coaches stay involved. That way any questions about work, housing or transport can be picked up quickly.
Flexdirect is also a member of the ABU and endorses the ABU Fair Employment Code for migrant workers. This focuses on, among other things, transparent recruitment, safety and health, equal pay, reliable housing standards and an accessible complaints procedure.
