This privacy statement applies to all personal data processed by NasWerkt, via ‘naswerkt.nl’, ‘necwerkt.nl’, ‘flexdirect.nl’ and the other ‘werkenbij websites’ that we manage.
NasWerkt attaches great importance to the careful processing of personal data of employees, applicants, clients and website visitors. In this privacy statement, we explain how NasWerkt handles the processing of privacy-sensitive information.
Personal data we process
Depending on your situation, NasWerkt processes different personal data.
When you apply directly for a vacancy:

Following a direct application, and when you register with NasWerkt as a job seeker, the following is added:

Why we process this personal data
As a staffing agency, processing personal data is necessary to carry out our services properly, from job placement to administration. Specifically, we collect personal data to achieve the following purposes:
To draw up an employment contract between employer and employee
To bring employers and potential employees into contact with each other
To record illness and communicate it to our clients
To assess your suitability for a position
To enable you to log in to and use MijnNaswerkt
To apply a pre-employment screening when required
To contact you about possible vacancies (job alerts) and other opportunities
To determine whether you qualify for premium discounts or subsidies
To carry out our financial, absence and personnel administration
To comply with our reintegration obligations
Other data needed to comply with our legal obligations
How long we retain personal data
NasWerkt retains your personal data no longer than strictly necessary and complies with statutory retention periods. Your data is only used to achieve the purposes for which it was collected.
Sharing personal data with third parties
NasWerkt shares personal data with other parties when required by law or when necessary to carry out our services. This includes passing on personal data to clients, training institutions and government agencies such as the Dutch Tax Authority.
We also use third-party software and services, for example for our payroll administration. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a data processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. NasWerkt remains responsible for these processing activities.
Cookie policy
Cookies are small, simple text files that your computer or mobile device stores when you use a website. NasWerkt uses cookies and other similar technologies to make the website work properly and to be able to show personalized content.
NasWerkt uses functional cookies to make the website work properly, such as loading the correct font. We also place analytical cookies to collect statistics about the behavior of visitors on our website. For this we use Google Analytics and Hotjar. We use the information we gather to improve our website.
We also place tracking cookies from Google Analytics. Google uses these cookies to keep track of which pages you visit within the Google network, in order to build a profile of your browsing behavior. This data is not linked to your name, address, email address and the like as far as we are aware, but serves only to tailor advertisements so that they are as relevant to you as possible.
Finally, we use social media cookies. These cookies make it possible for you to share certain information, such as a vacancy on our website, directly with your social network.
If you want to block cookies completely, you can change the settings of your internet browser to turn them off.
Your rights
You have rights regarding the personal data we have processed. You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or to another organization named by you.
You can send a request for access, correction, deletion or transfer of your personal data to info@naswerkt.nl. To make sure the request for access was made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN). We will respond to your request within four weeks.
Finally, we would like to point out the possibility of filing a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Security of personal data
NasWerkt takes the protection of your personal data seriously. We therefore take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you think your personal data is not properly secured after all, you suspect a data breach, or there are other indications of misuse, please contact info@naswerkt.nl.
